Dr Jonathan Barichivich (https://jbarichivich.github.io/) a climatologist at the French CNRS in the Laboratory for Climate and Environmental Sciences (Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement) who specialises in statistical modelling of biosphere-climate interactions and a recent ERC grant recipient, will talk about the links between the mighty Amazon basin and the planet’s climate and their complex relationship in times of anthropogenic climate change.
