Interdisciplinary approach to grand challenges

On 26-29 October 2023, the European Centre for Geological Education (part of the University of Warsaw) in Chęciny, Poland, hosted a conceptual workshop entitled ‘Processes and transformations in complex systems’ organised by the Centre for Systemic Risk Analysis at the University of Warsaw (UW) and the Centre for Advanced Studies at the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT).

Prize for age predictor

A team of Polish researchers, which includes Dr. Jacek Rogala from Centre for Systemic Risk Analysis, took 2nd place in a W3PHIAI-23 Aging Hackathon that challenged participants to design an optimal age predictor.
